Chicken Cabbage Roll Recipe



Who  Else hates cabbage to eat?!Aww…”I” .But after knowing its health benefits I switch to start eating and cooking  cabbage in different styles, one of my favourite style am sharing with you.
Half a cup of cooked cabbage has about a third the vitamin C. It also Contains  fibre, folate, potassium, magnesium, vitamins A and K, and more,so please make sure to have cabbage in your diets.

How to make CABBAGE ROLL(Patta Gobi) With MINCED CHICKEN

Ingredients Used Choose As per Your Taste :

  •  Minced chicken - 1/4 - 1/2 kg
  •  Carrot - 2 small
  •  Beans – Few beans
  •  Capsicum - 1 medium
  •  Ginger - a small piece
  •  Garlic - 3 - 4 cloves Green chillies - 3 - 4
  •  Garammasala - 1/2 tsp
  •  Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  •  Salt
  •  Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
  •  Ghee or oil
  •  Cabbage


How to make Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe(Method To Cook):

Chicken Stuff preparation:


  • To a pan add ghee or oil
  • Crush a piece of Ginger, garlic cloves & green chillies
  • Sauté until the raw smell goes
  • Add minced chicken to the bowl
  • Grate two small carrots, chop capsicum & beans (You can add  more veggies as you like)
  • Once The water from minced chicken all dried
  • Add the grated carrots and chopped capsicum, beans and cook for 5 minutes
  • Add garam masala
  • Add turmeric powder
  • Add coriander leaves
  • Add salt and pepper.

*The chicken Stuff is ready to fill*

To make the cabbage rolls:

  • Wash the cabbage and separate each cabbage leaves .
  • Place  the cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for 6-7 minutes, till they are just soft and easy to roll. Do not Overcook them.
  • Or steam the  Cabbage leaves(I prefer to steam because  the cabbage leaves will not lost the nutrients having in it)
  • cut the centre hard part slightly


Rolling the cabbage leaves :

Add  the chicken filling  to the cabbage leaves and close the sides and roll just pass a clove or a toothpick or skewers that’s easy to make a shallow fry.
Take a pan and shallow fry the rolls yummmm!!!! It’s ready to eat …or you can just steam the rolls again for 3 sec.

           *Now cabbage roll with chicken mince is ready to serve*
