Drumstick Masala
Drumsticks these are very famous vegetable in India and of other states of India. These are very good for health,because it loads with calcium and iron which is good for bone health and density.Even these drumsticks are rich in B vitamins like niacin,riboflavin etc.,It helps to maintain glucose levels in our body.even it improves milk production For Mothers after delivery .
Ingredients
- Dry Coconut - 1 Tablespoon
- Ginger - 1 And 1/2 Inch
- Garlic Cloves - 4
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 Tea Spoon
- Red chilli powder - 1 Table Spoon
- Coriander powder - 1 Table Spoon
- Water -1/2 Cup (As required)
- Oil - As Required
- Salt - As Per Taste
- Onion - 1
- Tomato -2
- Curry leaves - Few
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tea Spoon
- Coriander leaves - Few Chopped
- Mustard Seeds
How to prepare
- Wash the Drum Sticks and chop drumstick in to pieces, Chop the onion &tomatoes.
- To a Mixer Jar Add Coconut,Ginger,Garlic cloves,Fennel seeds,Red chilli powder,Coriander powder with little water and make a fine paste.(You can add even tomato also to make the paste).
- To a Bowl add oil,after heat add Mustard seeds and Curry leaves.
- Add onions and saute till it becomes transparent.
- Add tomatoes and saute until it become soft.
- Add paste which we Grinded in the jar.
- Mix well and fry the Masala until the raw smell is completely gone .
- Add salt as per taste.
- Add chopped drumstick pieces and mix well.
- Fry the drum stick well with the Masala for few minutes.
- Add water and cook for 10 min.or u can keep for 1 or 2 whistle to the cooker.
- Check to the drumsticks if they are tender .
- Fry everything for Few more minutes
- And serve hot.
*Yum its ready to Serve * Serve Hot with Rice or Roti**
